Increased labor shortage
NAV’s company survey shows that there is an increased labor shortage in Norwegian companies together amounts to 44,400 people. This is an increase of over 30 percent from last year.
Increased shortage in most counties in Norway
Compared with one year ago, the shortage has increased in all counties except Hordaland.
Measured in the number of people, the shortage of labor is highest in Oslo, with 8,500 people. If we take into account the size of the counties, it is nevertheless in Northern Norway that the labor market is the tightest for the companies. The businesses in Nordland, Akershus, and Finnmark state to a large extent that they have had recruitment difficulties in the last three months. The recruitment problems are at least in Vest-Agder, Buskerud, Oppland, Hedmark, Aust-Agder, and Vestfold.
